Blood tainted rocks
I watch
As the blood turns to air
Black hands of coal
reach out
In hopes to an end
Black clouds above
obscure
all light is now gone
At the center of it all
In a storm
A tower stands tall

Approaching
I see it clearly now
A vortex
a blend of black ash and thunder
The air
gets thinner and foul

And each step I take
chips my body and turns it to gray
The rain
falls heavy and burns the ground
No fire
yet black smoke rises from below
My vision
blurried
all sense paralyzed
A sight to see
what lies inside

Onwards
The gates I shall knock
